Because the Arabic language is the foundation of all Islamic learning, it is of utmost importance that all Muslims familiarize themselves with it. Through studying Miftah al-Quran by Shaykh Mahfuz al- Rahman Nami, students will acquire the skill set to begin comprehending the Quran. Though the course will not teach a great deal of conversational Arabic, it will be a stepping stone for students to immerse themselves in the vast and eloquent language of the book of Allahﷻ.

This course is specifically designed to teach students the Arabic required to understand one’s salah (ritual prayer) and simple verses of the Quran. The fall semester will cover 12 lessons from Miftah al- Quran, Insha’ Allah.
