Bearing the same name as the masjid which symbolized the beginning of the Madani era, the Quba Weekend Intensive has been designed for young adults (brothers and sisters), full-time university students, working professionals, and anyone else looking to begin their pursuit of knowledge. Over the duration of one year (15-18 credit hours), students will be introduced to core subjects of the Islamic paradigm and will develop a rudimentary level of Islamic literacy. They will learn the basic skills required to thrive as Muslims in the western world by studying subjects such as ‘aqidah (creed), tafsir (exegesis), tajwid (recitation), fiqh (jurisprudence), and the Arabic language. Students can expect to enhance their comprehension of Islamic theory.
