Mufti Muhammad Mujibur Rahman was born in Bangladesh and raised in New York. After completing high school, he traveled to Madrasah Arabia Islamia (Darul Uloom Azaadville) in South Africa to pursue the ‘Ālimiyyah degree, whilst specializing in both the seven and ten qira’āt (Canonical Readings)
His zeal for knowledge then took him to the prestigious Darul Uloom in Deoband, India. There, he received further specialization in the field of iftā (legal opinion) under the tutelage of some of the greatest luminaries of recent times. He has completed a bachelor’s degree from Allama Iqbal Open University (Pakistan), as well as a master’s degree from Jamia Binoria Aalamia, Karachi, Pakistan. He continues to study under senior scholars from various parts of the world, including the blessed lands of Makkah and Madinah.
He is currently an instructor at Darul Uloom New York and the Vice President of Madani Academy.
